Lenny has put the winery on the map, one happy wine-drinker at a time. “Ventosa” translates to windy in Italian, a perfect name for the setting with its breezes off of Seneca Lake which moderates the temperature of the vineyard. Mediterranean roots of the winery date back to Lenny’s grandfather who came to Geneva, New York, from Italy.
