Diamonds In The Rough Fashion Show

Join us for the highly-anticipated Miss Julie’s Annual Diamonds in the Rough Fashion Show, taking place on Saturday, July 29th, from 6:00pm to 9:00pm at Evento East in the Baytowne Plaza Webster, NY.

“DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH” is not just a fashion show and fundraising event; it is an initiative aimed at raising awareness and putting an end to human trafficking in the local community. Miss Julie’s School of Beauty seeks to empower individuals at-risk and survivors of human trafficking through vocational training. By providing these individuals with the necessary skills and resources, they can regain their independence and build a brighter future. This event serves as a reminder that every person has the potential to shine, even in the most challenging circumstances. In celebration of fashion, survivors, local businesses, we welcome you and thank you for your support in the fight against human trafficking.

WHAT TO EXPECT
Doors will open at 5:45pm.

At 6:00pm, attendees will have the opportunity to meet the team behind the school and shop and sample some of the local businesses that support it, and even capture the evening with our 360 photo booth! They can also enjoy free wine sampling provided by our sponsor, VIENI WINE + SPIRITS. (Cash Bar Available)

At 6:30pm, there will be speeches from the City’s Mayor’s Office and the office of Senator Jeremy Cooney. Founder Julie Chapus of Miss Julie’s School of Beauty will also provide insights about the school and its mission. There will be an incredible announcement you won’t want to miss!

The fashion show will commence at 7:30pm; featuring 12 incredible designers and boutiques witth over 70 models walking the runway in support of dismantling human trafficking right here in our city.
