Women Who Inspire: Amy Walts

Amy Walts was a very accomplished woman, who found great joy in her life because she was someone that was lucky enough to pursue a career doing what she loved. She made a living being an artist and not a starving one either. Amy was ecstatic that she was able to make a secondary career out of playing the piano and the concert grand-pedal harp and Irish-Celtic harp also. Additionally, her background as an illustrator and graphic artist allowed her to appreciate multi-media fine arts. Most importantly, bringing happiness to others through the enjoyment of listening to her music and watching her performances is what Amy loved most. Booked well-ahead in wedding season until one tragic day seven years ago, her life changed.  Continue reading

Do we take things for granted? I want to say we do. Previously, I was an LPN at the St, Mary’s Hospital Brain Injury Trauma Unit. I wasn’t a hospital employee, I was a nurse through an agency. Women Who Inspire: Patricia Nadiak

As a young woman, Patricia Nadiak, worked in her family’s dry cleaning business and helped provide for her family.  She enjoyed the work, but it wasn’t her true passion in life.  She was also a young woman who struggled with darker facial hair because of her genetic background. She was always embarrassed because of this.  She got a blessing in disguise when she went to her primary care for acne.  Her primary care told her it wasn’t acne, but ingrown hairs.  He told her to see Patty Entwhistle.
